Mrs. Buturla - Masuk's October Staff Member of the Month

Every day, the dedicated staff members at Masuk High School go above and beyond to support, inspire, and make a difference in the lives of our students.  Whether it is a teacher who makes learning exciting, a counselor who provides encouragement, or a staff member who consistently goes the extra mile to help others, there are countless individuals who make Masuk such a special place!  

•  Mrs. Buturla is a wonderful teacher who connects to students and deeply cares about students’ success in class. I always look forward to being in class.
•  Mrs. Buturla does not let a single grade or mistake define who we are as students instead offers extra help and solutions in order to improve. The time and effort and definitely patience shows that being a teacher is more than a job - she truly cares about making students successful.
• Having a teacher who believes in students, challenges students, and cares about their growth and success makes a huge difference in a student's effort and attitude. 
•  Mrs. Buturla comforted my daughter when she was having a difficult day and went above and beyond by talking with her privately and making her feel like everything was going to be ok.  It meant the world to my daughter and therefore, means the world to me.

Mrs. Buturla was recognized during our faculty meeting yesterday and was presented with a beautiful floral arrangement, generously provided by our community partner, D & D Florist of Monroe!  We extend our sincere appreciation to D & D Florist for helping us celebrate the incredible people who make Masuk such a wonderful place to learn and grow.  Be on the lookout for November's nomination form and consider nominating a Masuk staff member!
