Alumni Day is held in January during Periods 2,3, and 4 in the Masuk Library. Approximately 50 Masuk alumni talk in groups to current Junior and Senior students. The returning alumni discuss their college experiences while also giving advice as to how the college experience could be positive for the current Masuk students. These alumni represent a wide range of colleges, including large to small as well as private and state-supported colleges. They also represent a geographical variety, mostly being New England and Mid-Atlantic colleges with some other areas also represented. Members of the Citizen's Advisory Committee on Career Education are moderators for the group discussions.
Classes with primarily Junior or Senior students attend Alumni Day. For all three of the scheduled periods, a total of over 600 students generally attend the program.
Alumni Day is another of the activities that are sponsored by the Citizen's Advisory Committee on Career Education. Members of the Advisory Committee are townspeople who are interested in developing career education programs within the school system; the Committee meets monthly.
