Masuk High School Hosts JCK Foundation Assembly to Support Mental Health

On Tuesday, February 25, Masuk High School’s sophomore class gathered for a powerful and inspiring assembly led by the JCK Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting mental health awareness. The event  provided students with valuable insights into mental wellness, resilience, and the importance of seeking support when needed.

The JCK Foundation’s speakers shared personal experiences and stories of overcoming mental health challenges, emphasizing the importance of breaking the stigma surrounding mental health conversations. Through engaging discussions and interactive elements, the presenters encouraged students to recognize the strength in vulnerability and the significance of supporting one another. The assembly highlighted key strategies for maintaining mental well-being, including mindfulness, self-care, and the value of open communication with trusted individuals.

Students responded positively to the program, with many expressing gratitude for the open and honest dialogue. Inspired by the assembly, a student-led mental health awareness club is now forming at Masuk, with its first meeting scheduled for March. As mental health remains a crucial topic among young people, Masuk High School continues to prioritize initiatives like the JCK Foundation assembly to ensure that students have the resources and support they need.
