On November 19th, Masuk High School celebrated a heartwarming tradition: the annual MLL Friendsgiving. Organized by MLL teacher Cindy Madeira, the event brought together students, teachers, and staff in a meaningful gathering to express gratitude for the friendships and connections that enrich their lives.
The MLL (Multilingual Learner) students embraced the spirit of the season, sharing moments of joy and reflecting on the importance of being thankful for friends, teachers, and the supportive community that surrounds them.
A huge thank-you goes out to Culinary Arts teacher Amy Bien, whose contributions helped make the event a delicious success. Gratitude also goes to the dedicated administration and staff who made this event possible, as well as everyone who attended and supported the celebration.
The day was truly spectacular, filled with food, laughter, and a sense of togetherness. The success of this year's Friendsgiving has inspired excitement for the continuation of this cherished tradition next year, with hopes to welcome even more participants.
Thank you to all who helped make the 2024 MLL Friendsgiving a memorable and meaningful experience. Here's to the power of community, gratitude, and friendship at Masuk High School!
